With the growing understanding about hazards involving carriage of LNG cargo, this course develops the professional skills and confidence of Deck officers who are engaged in the handling of Bulk Liquid Cargoes with the help of simulating the cargo operations conducted on LNG Tankers.

Designed for officers and personnel serving onboard LNG Carriers, this course targets those responsible for the safe planning and execution of cargo operations.

Syllabus Encompasses

The course follows IMO Model Course 1.36 guidelines, covering all operations in a typical LNG Carrier Delivery/Drydock to Drydock voyage cycle. It provides practical and operational knowledge for each subject area.

Methodology

This intensive course uses a blended learning and assessment approach. The pre-requisite sequence in the beginning of the exercises guides users in learning the line-ups, machinery requirements, and operational flow. Assessment takes place during the operation phase, where users must achieve key milestones.

Certification

Upon completion and a successful assessment the candidate will receive a certificate issued by AVRIO.
